Talk about the GOOD books, the ones you like, here!
Ones that represent, you know, good writing, storytelling, characters, plot development, antagonists, etc.
Personally, I read quite a bit, but one of my favorite series is Dragonlance, written by Margaret Weis and Tracy Hickman back in the 80's (AKA, a million years ago). The newer stuff I'm not as fond of, but the blending of fantasy adventure and humor, and drama.. I highly recommend it.
I also enjoy the autobiographical "The Know-It-All" by A.J. Jacobs, which covers his adventures reading the entire encyclopaedia Britannica, a-z. Or, A-ak to Zyweic, to be precise.
Also...anything by Steven King. XD But I'm especially fond of The Stand.

Well I like the classics personally. Lolita, Dracula and the like. But new books can flick my interest too.
Though I have to say, many a ton of vampire books are of the Twilight-cliche breed.
What the hell?
Where did all the good vampire books go?
examples: Twilight (gag) Vampire Kisses (even the name makes is apparent) Those are only a few.
Has everyone with a good sense of literature died?! Why are we letting literary infections like these fester?!
